Organic Beeswax for Sealing Log Inoculation Holes
Organic beeswax is applied to seal the openings after a log has been drilled and filled with either plug spawn or sawdust. Unsealed holes can allow contaminants to enter, which may hinder or compete with the mycelium growth. By sealing the openings with organic beeswax, an additional protective layer is created, safeguarding the mycelium from drying out or contamination. This protection allows the mycelium to establish itself without rivals, flourish in its new environment, and yield a plentiful harvest of mushrooms for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
