Description
Gypsum Calcium Sulphate (CaSO4) Mushroom Supplement for Grain and Substrate
Our gypsum is coarse-grade and of the highest quality available on the market. Sourced directly from a quarry, it is processed in our facility to reduce its size to at least half (1-2mm).
Key Benefits:
- Superior Quality: Our gypsum outperforms food grade and other commercially available options, being 100% natural, additive-free, and unprocessed.
- Versatile Use: Suitable for any stage of mushroom cultivation, providing essential minerals for healthier mycelium growth.
- Color Variations: Gypsum may appear as grey or dark brown balls, both of which are of the same high quality and highly soluble.
Benefits of Gypsum in Mushroom Cultivation:
- Prevents Sticking and Clumping: When added to grain spawn, gypsum prevents sticking and clumping, leading to more prominent mycelial points of contact and reducing the chances of contamination.
- Improves Moisture Distribution: Enhances moisture distribution when added to the substrate.
- Boosts Yields and Fruit Body Formation: Promotes higher yields and better fruit body formation due to its high calcium and sulfur content.
Usage Instructions:
- Depending on your method, soak, boil, and dry your grains.
- Add gypsum, mix well, and then sterilize.
Ratios:
- For Grain Spawn: Add 3% of gypsum based on the total dry weight of the grains.
- For Substrate: Add 5% of gypsum based on the total dry weight of the substrate.
