Professional Range

P1 cultures, also known as master liquid Cultures, are the most vigorous cultures available on the market.

P2 Cultures are made from P1 cultures by expanding them 10 folds, so 10 ml to 100 ml.

Commercial Range

P3 Cultures are made from P2 cultures by expanding them 10-fold, so 10 ml to 100 ml.

One mistake people make when growing wood ear mushrooms is not providing them with enough light.If the mushroom does not fruit, give it a cold shock. If not grown properly, they will not maintain the gelly-like texture and will dry out. It is best to grow them at the lower range of recommended temperatures.

Orientation-side fruiting. Grow on a master mix (Mix of Sawdust and Soy hulls) or Sawdust 80% and bran 20% substrate. The substrate needs to be Sterelised.

Woodear can take up to 4-5 months to completely fruit.

Mushroom farms grow them in 3-4 Kg blocks in a grow bag.

Wood ear mushrooms are mild-tasting and have a crunchy texture. They are often used in soups, stir-fries, and salads because they absorb the flavours of the dishes they are cooked in.

Store woodear in the fridge at 2°C.

Incubate at 23°C (25-30 days). Maintain humidity at 95-100% for pin formation and drop by 5-10% during fruiting.

The liquid culture can be used in various cultivation techniques. You may introduce the liquid culture into sterilized grain jars/bags, agar Petri dishes, or even another nutrient Sterile jar to expand into the more liquid culture.

When you order Liquid cultures and Colonized Agar plates, we require you to order express post so they reach you in the most vigorous state. We do not guarantee availability or contamination if they are not ordered express post.

You must understand the law in your country before importing the culture. If the culture is confiscated at customs, we cannot reship the product or refund you.

If you have a permit or require a Phytosanitary certificate, letter of origin, or Manufacturer’s declaration, please contact us. These documents will cost extra and increase the time it takes to ship the product by up to four weeks.
